Recent advances in the knowledge of the epidemiology of HPAI in Vietnam and identification of research priorities

The upcoming Joint Department of Animal Health, Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (DAH, MARD) and Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO)

Information Sharing Meeting entitled ‘Recent advances in the knowledge of the epidemiology of HPAI in Vietnam and identification of research priorities’ made possible through the generous funding contribution of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).

The aim of the workshop is to summarize the existing scientific knowledge and facilitate the exchange of experiences on the epidemiology of HPAI, with emphasis on control of infection. The outcomes of the workshop will help identify research priorities and will allow the fine-tuning of the Government of Viet Nam vaccination strategy.
