Exploring a range of different approaches to participation in the frame of Vet. Public Health

Multidisciplinary integration between natural and social sciences is one of our main objectives, notably for the implementation of participatory approaches and tools with our field partners regarding the management of vet. public health research  topics & emergent and epidemiological animal health risk management.

This training workshop would more specifically help participants:

  1. Improving risk communication skills between Grease partners at the interface between Social Sciences, vet. Medicine and Modeling.
  2. Developing multidisciplinary methodology at the edge of Socioeconomics, Biology and Vet. Public Health, involving the participation of various stakeholders.

EXPECTED OUTPUTS:

  • Provide an overview of theoretical framework for participatory epidemiology (tools and approaches), with a focus on Vet. Public health research issues.
  • Better multidisciplinary communication & analysis skills in the area of animal health and zoonotic diseases risks management.
  • Exploring how participatory approaches & local stakeholders’ participation could improve risk and diseases management.
